2008-2009

Founded by Artistic Director, Judith Herrington in 1991, Tacoma Youth Chorus is comprised of seven select, auditioned choirs for boys and girls, ages 8-18, with changed and unchanged voices. Auditions are available throughout the year and are basically like a private voice lesson. You may call the office or call a director to schedule your private audition. Singers are also welcome to visit rehearsals. Please contact the director for permission.

Tacoma Youth Chorus hosts several major concerts each season with numerous collaborative concerts held throughout the season as well. Visit our events calendar or upcoming events page for ticket information. Come hear us sing!

Highlights of our upcoming season include performances with Tacoma Symphony Orchestra in "Sounds of the Season" in early December and "Carmina Burana" in April, our Midwinter Concert guest artist and gospel expert, Dr. Rollo Dilworth, a concert with Rod Eichenberger and a return week-long visit and concert in the spring (May) with David Flood of Canterbury Cathedral! The Chamber Choir will travel to Oregon for a festival in June as well. Hope you will join us on our musical journey!
