Guest Performance: “Future Sounds”

In collaboration with Pacific Lutheran University Choral Union
Sunday, March 8th, 2026

The Tacoma Youth Chorus Chamber Choir (grades 5-8) will be featured in this performance with PLU’s Choral Union (directed by Dr. Raul Dominguez), which will also include performances by PLU’s Choir of the West (directed by Dr. Brian Galante), and the Graham-Kapowsin High School Chorale (directed by Jason Saunders).  The concert will include the premier performance of renowned composer Èriks Ešenvalds’ new work honoring retired Choral Union director Richard Nance.

with Special Guests: Symphony Tacoma Voices

Get ready to say farewell to winter and make special memories with an evening of multi-generational singing.
Join the combined choirs of Tacoma Youth Chorus for our end-of-year showcase performance in the beautiful setting of Lagerquist Concert Hall on the campus of Pacific Lutheran University.  A much-beloved part of this event is our traditional TYC tribute to our graduating seniors.

with Special Guests: the Tacoma Youth Symphony

Join us for an afternoon celebrating the teamwork and dedication of local youth as we bring together two beloved youth music organisations for a joint program.  The concert will feature our TYC Chorale (grades 9-12) in individual and side-by-side performances with students of the Tacoma Youth Symphony.
