Ever wonder how exactly we get from that first rehearsal, to being ready to perform in concert? Here’s your chance to find out!
Our Family Welcome programs are a favorite among our members and TYC families. These informal performances showcase music that is still “in progress.” Unlike most concerts, in our Family Sharing Programs, conductors interact directly with the audience. We demonstrate some of our tools for building vocal technique, show strategies we use for learning music, and share the “insider’s view” of what we do each week in rehearsal. This is a great concert to bring family and friends to who are interested in learning more about TYC.
We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, November 14, at 2pm for the Choristers Family Sharing (grades 2-3, directed by Connie Schmidt) and at 3:30pm for the Concert & Chamber Choirs Family Sharing (grades 4-5 and 6-8, directed by Leann Conley-Holcom and Judy Herrington). No tickets are needed, and all are welcome!
