Our youngest choir will present “works in progress” as they share music that will be performed in December. It is always inspiring to see how much they have accomplished since the beginning of the season!
With Concert Choir (grades 4-5) and Chamber Choir (grades 6-8)
Chamber Choir and Concert Choir comprise the “treble choir” that will perform with Symphony Tacoma and Symphony Voices at Sounds of the Season in December (see Event Description below). Today they will share with families some of their “works in progress.”
Tacoma Youth Chorus joins Symphony Tacoma in their annual collage of seasonal delights for the whole family featuring Gospel and spiritual favorites, classics from cherished TV and Christmas movies, moving choral masterpieces, and the always-popular carol sing-along!
Presented by the Tacoma Youth Chorus Chorale (grades 9-12)
A beloved Tacoma Youth Chorus tradition, the Chorale, Men’s Choir and Women’s Choir, and the Legacy Choir (TYC alums) present a moving program of beloved holiday choral selections, readings and audience carol sing-along.
Tickets available October 6th through Brown Paper Tickets.
Every three years, singers in grades 8-12 have the opportunity to join the TYC Tour Choir in a fantastic performance-centered international tour.
